Nintendo Officially Shuts Down Dr. Mario World For Mobile Devices

In the past few years, Nintendo has started to make a bigger endeavour at launching games on mobile. Some of these titles have proven very popular over the years, similar Creature Crossing: Pocket Camp and Fire Keepsake Heroes, but others not so much, so much and then that Nintendo has shuttered some of their mobile efforts.

The latest victim comes in the grade of Dr. Mario World which has been officially shut downward as of the 31st of October, 2021. Nintendo had previously warned gamers that they would be shutting down the game and its service back in July, and it looks like that fourth dimension has come.

According to Nintendo, "The Dr. Mario World game's service will stop on November 1, 2021 (Mon). We would like to extend our sincere thank you to everyone who has played the game since information technology began service on July 10, 2019."

For gamers who did enjoy the game and want to look back on good times, Nintendo says, "You lot will be able to look back at your player history in Dr. Mario World Memories, which is a spider web page that will become bachelor later the game's service ends. To enable the provision of the Dr. Mario Globe Memories Service, a portion of your player history will exist saved on the server so information technology tin can be referenced in Dr. Mario World Memories."
